When U.S. military members are stationed in the Middle East, they sometimes need something to keep their spirits up and remind them that everything will be okay. Sometimes the thing that does this walks on four legs. The day Sergeant Tony came across a stray dog in need of rescuing, little did he know that the dog was also rescuing him. Now that his deployment is ending, he's desperate to bring Loki home with him.

"I found Loki when he was in a terrible state, and I knew I had to help him,” says Sgt. Tony. “He's become such an important part of my life, and I can't imagine leaving him behind. I'm asking for help to make sure he can come home with me."

Sgt. Tony, a soldier in the U.S. Army, found Loki while on a mission. The dog was malnourished and had an injured leg. After getting him veterinary care, he began caring for the dog and nursing him back to health. The two have been inseparable ever since, creating a lasting bond.

One crucial thing that Loki did for Sgt. Tony and others in the military community was to become a symbol of hope and resilience. Everyone who came in contact with him had their spirits lifted, and couldn't help but feel hopeful about the future. Now that Sgt. Tony has been scheduled to return to the U.S., he can't bear the thought of leaving his furry friend behind. He has reached out to Guardians of Rescue for assistance in having Loki brought to the U.S, where he will live with Sgt. Tony. Please help us help Loki and Sgt. Tony make their dream a reality!
