A Cry for Justice for Dog Victims in GA
Guardians of Rescue, is investigating the case of a woman posing as a dog rescue while taking rescue donations, but killing the dogs instead.
The “Animal Rescuer” Patty Elizabeth Thomas (aka Byles) is behind bars now, facing eight Aggravated Animal Cruelty (felony) charges and 10 Animal Cruelty (misdemeanor) charges.
It is tragic that caring donors, who thought they were helping to save innocent lives were instead enriching a dog killer. As well as being lethal for the "rescued" dogs, this type of fraud undermines faith in the entire recue community, who are crucial in the mission to rehome lost, abandoned and otherwise homeless pets.
